How to connect:
- Please fill out our Request Form.
- After receiving your request, we will contact you via email to confirm details. We will then send an LOA for you to use to order a cross-connect from ACS at their North Wire Center facility. Cross-connects are at your own expense, but there are currently no port charges or connection fees for AlaskaIX.
- Contact your ACS sales representative to order cross-connects, or use this direct contact at ACS.
- If you are a Federal Government entity, your cross-connect ordering process may be different. The engineer receiving your request will discuss options with you.
- The engineer receiving your request will continue to work with you to turn up your connection once your cross-connect is in place.
- Please be sure to get signed up for AlaskaIX’s “announce” mailing list to receive maintenance and incident notifications.
AlaskaIX route servers use RPKI route validation.
- RPKI BGP Origin Validation of routes received by the route server is enabled.
- When an INVALID route is received by the route server, it is rejected.
